The ASC-group consist of the mother company Andøya Space Center (ASC), and the three subsidiaries NAROM, Andøya Test Center (ATC), and the newly established Andøya Spaceport.
ASC has over 50-year heritage of conducting sub-orbital launches, primarily in support of atmospheric & auroral research programmes for clients across the globe. ASC operates two sounding rocket launch sites, one in Andøya (69⁰N), and the second in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard (79⁰N). A record of safely launching over 1 200 vehicles, of mass up to 7T and up to 1 600 km apogee, has provided ASC with extensive expertise in windweighted rocket operations.
ASC and ATC also have advanced TM infrastructure.
Andøya Spaceport will focus on all activities relating to launch of small satellites, and be an addition to the services already provided by the ASC-group.
