The Company

Andøya Spaceport is a fully owned subsidiary of Andøya Space Center (ASC), which is owned 90% by the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries and 10% by Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace.

ASC operates two launch sites for sounding rockets, one at Andøya (69⁰N), and the second in Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard (79⁰N). ASC has a 55-year heritage of conducting suborbital launches, primarily in support of atmospheric & auroral research programmes for clients across the globe.

The ASC-group consist of the mother company Andøya Space Center, and the three subsidiaries NAROM, Andøya Test Center, and the newly established Andøya Spaceport which will focus on all activities relating to launch of small satellites, and be an addition to the services already provided by the ASC-group.
